Good attitude can save your heart and joints
Researchers at Pennsylvania State University said that if you are living a stressful life now, chances are high that you will suffer from conditions such as arthritis in a decade from now.
These scientists advise that people find ways to deal with their stress as soon and as effectively as possible.
Stress will dominate your life and make you miserable & sick
It is this state of misery that leads to conditions such as arthritis and heart disease. Of course, misery is only one of the causes, while diet and other issues contribute.
It is ironic that misery leads to these two specific conditions which in themselves lead to even more misery. Heart disease and arthritis affect quality of life in sufferers.
Most of us have been blessed with healthy bodies and minds and we should do everything in our power to maintain that good health. Here are some tips to help you cope with stressful situations:
1. If you feel that life is too overwhelming, take some time out. Go for a walk, listen to some music or do something that you enjoy and that is relatively mindless. Most situations can be dealt with if you gain a little perspective on the matter. Step back and look at it objectively. What advice would you give to someone else if they were facing your situation?
2. Most often our worst nightmares never occur anyway, so don’t become fixated on bad outcomes, focus on and have faith that the best scenario will take place.
3. A balanced diet might help alleviate any chemical triggers for your stress. Eat healthy foods such as vegetables, fruits and good sources of protein. Stay away from simple carbohydrates such as sweets, pastries and the like. These foods poison your system and only add to your stress. They are riddled with free radicals that can cause more stress for you.
4. Look for a good quality daily multiple mineral supplement. This will help fight off the free radicals in your body thereby removing one of the major stresses in your life and your body.
